Transportation

Scotty’s has two vehicles used for transportation of children to/from school and field trips. We have a 2011 Chevy Express 3500 Mini-bus that seats 14 children and a 2017 Dodge Caravan that seats 5 children. Both vehicles are DMV safety inspected annually and maintained as needed throughout the year. The vehicles go through a daily safety inspection before being used each day. Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports are completed and kept on file as required by state regulations. Drivers for these vehicles are required annually to complete a driver’s safety training certification course, have a ’V’ endorsement on their license, as well as have a clean driving record which we check twice a month with the DMV.

Scotty’s Kiddy Korner Preschool and Day Care provides an exciting, safe environment for infants and toddlers that is reinforced with love, encouragement and praise. Our preschool program provides opportunities that will help children experience and practice many different kinds of excercises and activities. We are located in Ellington, Connecticut, and we serve many surrounding communities, including Vernon, Tolland, Somers, South Windsor & Enfield, CT.
